Yukihiro Ozaki
Yukihiro Ozaki obtained his Ph.D. from Osaka University in 1978.
He was a professor in the School of Science and Technology, Kwansei Gakuin University until 2018.
He was a Vice President of Kwansei Gakuin University from 2013 to 2018. Currently, Ozaki is a professor emeritus and a university fellow, Kwansei Gakuin University, a guest professor, Kobe University, and a guest principal researcher of RIKEN.
He is also a technical advisor at Intellectual Property High Court, in Tokyo High Court. Ozaki has long been involved in the studies of vibrational spectroscopy including Raman, infrared, and near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy. He has also been very active for far-ultraviolet spectroscopy studies.
Ozaki received many awards including Science and Technology Award of Japanese Government, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (2005), The Chemical Society of Japan Award (2017). The Medal with Purple Ribbon from Japanese Emperor (2018). Pittsburg Spectroscopy Award (2019).
He received The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon this year. He also obtained China Government Friendship award last June.
