W ramach projektu IDUB „Tandemy dla doskonałości” w dniach 5–6 maja Wydział Biologii UW oraz CNBCh UW będą gościć dr. Davida Logue’a z University of Lethbridge (Kanada).

Informacja Biograficzna:

dr David Logue

David is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Lethbridge (Canada). As a student at UC San Diego, he lucked into a chance to study tropical ecology in the jungles of Costa Rica. Hooked on the tropics, David arranged a PhD studying duet singing wrens in the Panamanian rainforest. Then he moved to Puerto Rico, where he served as a professor of biology for six years (Universidad de Puerto Rico). These days, David, the head of the Birdsong Lab, teaches classes in animal behaviour, animal communication, and decision-making, mentors a bunch of wonderful graduate students, and (still) studies how tropical birds communicate with songs.
