Cooperation within the Lakes Connect project framework

We are constantly developing the Lakes Connect project, the aim of which is to connect various specialists, inspiring them to cooperate and actively follow the latest trends. Our priority is to fully use the project’s potential and look for new opportunities for cooperation.

Recently we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Marta Derek from the Department of Geography of Tourism and Recreation of the University of Warsaw. Our discussions focused on sustainable tourism, which is an important element of our project.

Together we discussed trends in the tourism sector and development trends in the Masurian Lake District. We were particularly interested in activities aimed at minimizing the negative impact of tourism on the environment.

The result of our meeting will be a joint interview prepared by the Lakes Connect team and Dr. Derek which will include information on a practical approach to promoting sustainable tourism and its positive impact on the nature around us.
