Magdalena Michalska-Kacymirow, Ph.D. and Dr. Eliza Kurek, Ph.D. participated in the 28th International Scientific Symposium dedicated to separation techniques, which took place in Messina, Italy, from September 22 to 25, 2024.

The symposium focused on modern methods of separating various substances that are essential for chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental analyses. Magdalena and Eliza presented their research findings on the processing of selenium by plants, which is a crucial element of the PATHFOOD project. This project aims to enhance the understanding and utilization of selenium in functional foods, aligning with sustainable development goals and improving public health outcomes.
