Summer School: X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy Using Synchrotron Radiation

11 04 2025
Within the PATHFOOD project, “Creating a Sustainable Chain of Functional Food: A Path to EU Climate Neutrality and Health Improvement” funded under HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02, we cordially invite interested parties to participate in a summer school taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from June 16 to June 20, 2025. This summer school is part of the PATHFOOD project, which aims to develop a sustainable production chain for selenium-enriched food, supporting both public health and EU climate goals. The project is funded through the Horizon Europe program, specifically under the HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02 call, which supports initiatives enhancing access to scientific excellence in EU countries.
Participants:
The summer school is aimed at individuals with a Ph.D. or those currently pursuing doctoral studies, with a preference for candidates from the fields of exact and natural sciences, particularly chemistry and biology. An interest in X-ray spectroscopy and its applications in functional food research is welcome.
